Creating a User Account

Creating a user account is FREE, secure and without obligation. TenantVERIFY® uses a SSL (Secure Socket Layer Authentication) protected database User Account system which allows you to securely access the Tenant Checks and Referencing Service online.

We send out email and SMS text alerts at each stage of the process, but for security no confidential information is passed via email – you must sign in to your account. We advise you to monitor your account to check on progress when you have a Tenant Check in the system.

Why do I need to register for an account

The user account system means that you can sign in at any time 24/7/365 via a secure login to place new orders, to check on progress and retrieve Check results reports.

Your account will retain records of current and previous applications, supporting documents and reports so than you can refer back to these at any time for up to 6 months. You are advised to make and keep a permanent record of these for your own convenience, bearing in mind that data protection legislation guidelines say that personal data should be stored for no longer than is absolutely necessary.

Is this service secure and confidential?

Yes, absolutely. Your privacy is very important to us. Any information you disclose to us about your or your tenant applicants will be kept completely confidential. We will never give out or sell contacts or email addresses, that’s an absolute promise.

Can I delete my account at a later stage?

Yes, the account including your contact details and all your stored data, order history etc., can be deleted in full at any time. Please contact us at any time e-mail or telephone and we will permanently delete your details without delay.

Will I be contacted by TenantVERIFY® ?

We will e-mail you to notify you of the progress and payments for any orders you place. If we have a problem or need more information we may occasionally telephone you. We also automatically add you to our Newsletter e-mail list – sent out monthly to landlords and letting agents.

The Newsletter contains some useful information and tips about renting out property. If you would prefer not to receive this, simply click the unsubscribe link provided at the bottom of every mailing and you will be automatically deleted from the mailing list.

Can I easily contact TenantVERIFY® if I have a query?

Yes, please do; we can advise on your lettings and you can up-date information on Checks in progress. We can be contacted at any time (1) through your account messaging service, (2) by e-mail or (3) by telephone – see the  contact us page. There’s always someone available during office hours.

How does the account save me time?

By Creating a User Account you enter your name, (company if appropriate) and contact details as a Landlord or Letting Agent just the once.

When you use our system you will find all your details are automatically entered into the Application Forms. All you need do then is enter the rental property and tenancy details on the form and send it or hand it to your tenant Applicant for completion.

If you prefer not to have your personal details automatically printed on the form, there is an option to enter them separately.

It is strongly recommended that you enter your landlord and mobile number, so that we can contact you quickly if there is a problem or a delay with a Check in progress.

Remember, you can access your account at any time to check the progress of your Checks and you can download completed or archived reports.
